Get a Jump Start on Pre-K

I just thought I would post a few things for the future Pre-K stars. I hope everyone is having a great summer!

Now is the perfect time to start cutting with scissors! If you will let your child lay on their belly in the floor and practice cutting straight lines with scissors, this will help them develop motor skills for Pre- K. There is also an amazing web site called starfall that introduces letters and allows them to start using the mouse. These would be great activities for hot summer afternoons! We will be going to the computer lab once a week as well as using the computers in our room so getting use to using a mouse will be very beneficial!
