The Regional Spelling Bee
The
Regional Spelling Bee, sponsored by the Amarillo Globe-News and
West Texas A&M University, will be held on Saturday, March 7th,
and follows a luncheon to honor all county winners. Each junior and
senior winner will receive a certificate, dictionary, and gift bag.
The winner of the Regional Spelling Bee will win cash &
prizes (top finalists will receive savings bonds up to $5,000.00)
in addition to the all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C., for
the winner and one parent, to compete in the 2008 Scripps National
Spelling Bee.

The overall winner for the 2007-2008 school year was
Dylan Hall of 5th Grade.
Dylan attended the Regional Spelling Bee in Canyon, Texas.
