Warriors vs Pirates

Friday night at 7:30 on Warrior field our own Miami Warriors varsity team will face down their first district opponents, the Lefors Pirates. In a pre-game interview, starting quarterback Cole Booze gave us some of his thoughts about the game.
“I’m excited about this game. We’ve been preparing all year,” said Cole when asked how he felt about the first district game of the year. “If we just play our game we’ll be fine, it all depends on how we handle the hype.” The quarterback seemed confident about the game and was only worried about the teams’ attitude during the game. “If we can control our emotions during the game and not get mad at the refs we’ll do fine, we just have to handle the hype.”
